A charity iftar in Manchester raised £10,000 for the Amir Khan Foundation.

Hosted by Mr. Compensator and Polish and Glow the event attracted 300 guests who were greeted by a range of super cars on show and activities for all the family.

The Amir Khan Foundation is currently involved in a series of projects around the world and the focus this Ramadan was to aim and respond to the plight of the children in Gambia.

Yasir Kayani who heads up the Manchester operation from his Dickenson Road office said, “Over the years Mr. Compensator has supported various charities and has been more active than ever this Ramadan.

“Amir Khan's is committed to ensure donations get to the people that actually need them so when he was approached to support the cause the answer was always going to be yes.”

“Throughout the month of Ramadan Mr. Compensator, Polish & Glow, Jilani’s Cafe and many other volunteers have been selling £20 raffle tickets for a chance to win a smart car.

“Day in day out the team placed themselves around the curry mile collecting donations from anyone that wanted to support the excellent work the AK Foundation is doing.”
