AHF FC recently won a Respect Award from the National F.A. for their commitment to providing fun and enjoyable football for young people. The club currently has five teams playing in the East Lancashire Football Alliance Junior Football League every Sunday.
The club’s emphasis is on development and their ethos is to allow every child the opportunity to achieve their potential.
The day before a crucial match, Bilal Akram of Asons Solicitors and David Clegg from the AMS Group met the children and the coaches before presenting the club with a cheque that covers the cost of kits and equipment for the season.
Asons and the AMS group are also supporting the club in an interfaith tournament. Football Unites takes place in November and will bring together teams from a variety of faiths to play in a friendly tournament with all proceeds going to Children In Need.
