More than £3,300 was raised for victims of the Gaza conflict at a five-a-side football tournament.
The contest at the Power League complex saw the aptly named ‘The Mullas’ overcome all opposition to clinch the cup.
They comfortably overcame ‘Rafah boder Crossers’ in the final with Mobeen Latif taking the player of the tournament award.
Aqeel was named goalkeeper of the tournament.
Organiser Amir told us: “A big thank you to the teams who turned out for this worthy cause. We would also like to thank Xpert Marketing and MyMed who donated funds to stage this competition.
“Through donations from individuals we raised £3,350 for charity.”
