Here's my list of the most fierced rivalries in football.

10 – Cardiff City vs Swansea City  106,763 views
.
Everyone was very excited in seeing Cardiff’s promotion to the Premier league. One of the reasons why was because of the anticipation of the South Wales derby. It was also the first top flight meeting between the pair and it didn’t disappoint. Though Cardiff narrowly won Swansea’s keeper was sent off as temperatures flared.

09 – Liverpool vs Everton  1,158,469 views
.
The Merseyside derby. Though some refer to it as the friendly derby, there isn’t anything friendly between the teams when they get on the field. Stamps, two-footed tackles and fights are just some of the action you get on the pitch. Violence between fans might be a rarity but player bust-ups is not.

08  – Arsenal vs Chelsea
One particular moment between the two London rivals was the Carling Cup final. Temperatures increased and in a single moment of madness a huge brawl took place in the centre of the field. Managers ended up calming their players and the referee dished out 3 red cards and 2 yellows. Including a further red card after the game

07 – Blackburn Rovers vs Burnley
Also known as el lanclasico this is one of the well-known rivalries in football. Both teams enjoying mixed successes, every time the two get together the fans notoriously kick up a fuss. After the match at Turf Moor in 2010, over a 150 seats were ripped out, toilets were smashed and 42 arrests were made emphasising the rivalry between fans.

06  - Aston Villa vs Birmingham City  183,597 views

The pair rarely meet anymore seen as Birmingham are not in the Premiership anymore but when it comes to cup games there is no place you would rather be. The atmosphere is electric and overwhelming.
An infamous clash between the two in the Carling Cup ended with injured fans and flares being thrown on the pitch.

05 – Arsenal vs Manchester United.
This rivalry may have been extinguished in the last few years but previously these two teams would regularly receive fines for not being able to control their players.
Red cards, fights, lunges and even the infamous tunnel bust-up between hard men Roy Keane and Patrick Viera has seen this rivalry flourish.

04 – Newcastle vs Sunderland
The Tyne–Wear derby between cities Newcastle and Sunderland.
Only ten miles apart, this massive rivalry is passionate. Goals are promised in this fixture and mob violence. Pitch invasions and in ground assaults proved too much at times with the police not allowing Sunderland fans to St James’ park unless they had travelled with the Sunderland bus.

03 – Celtic vs Rangers   117,394 views
.
Also known as the Old Firm, it has got to be up there as battle of the giants. Regarded as the most dangerous rivalry in football.
Though we haven’t had one in a while now since Rangers departed from the league, this one has been known for its nasty tackles and brawls between players and fans. There have been some fabulous football between the two but it can only be remembered for its clashes and violence.

02- Liverpool vs Man Utd
Liverpool and Manchester United sure know how pick a rivalry. However this time they go head to head the two most successful teams in England absolutely hate each other.
In these kind of fixtures it’s down to individual players that kick it all off. Examples include the Suarez and Evra saga, busts up between Neville and Carragher and even Shelvey losing his rag with Sir Alex.

01- Millwall vs West Ham
Arguably the longest-standing and most bitter rivalry there is in football. With patriotic supporters and battles on and off the pitch they’ve even decided to make a film about the hooliganism that takes place between the fan bases.
As you can see from the video even the riot police were unable to control the herds of fans. Chanting, shattered glass, broken faces and even injured police horses, a rivalry doesn’t get greater or more important  than this.
