HAROON Khan made it three wins in three professional fights with another impressive victory in Blackpool on Friday night.

And fellow Bolton fighter, heavyweight Paul Drago, won his fourth pro bout out of four, on the same Winter Gardens bill.

Khan, the 22-year-old younger brother of former world champion Amir Khan, boxed well against an awkward opponent in Bulgarian Stefan Slavchev.

The super-flyweight won the four-round fight on his first outing since winning his first two professional contests in quick succession earlier this year.

Drago also continued to make a name for himself in the paid game when he beat 31-year-old Danny Fleary from Darlington who had won his only previous pro bout.

The 29-year-old, who fights out of Elite Gym in Halliwell, produced a fine display, and went close to a knockout in the third round before winning on points after four.

The two Bolton men maintaining their one hundred per cent records as professionals saw them join a handful of boxers from the town who are making an impact in the world of top class boxing.

It shows the quality of boxing which has been emerging in the town for several years.
