MODELS are needed for a 1970s fashion show at the Merrywalks Shopping Centre in Stroud.

The centre was built in the 1970s and the show will feature vintage outfits styled by fashion students from Stroud College alongside some of the hottest 1970s inspired clothing and accessories from shops at the complex such as New Look and Roman Originals.

Models over 16 both male and female are needed to walk down a purpose built catwalk on Friday, June 28 between 5pm and 6pm.

Merrywalks owner Bill Wrather said: "We are keen to find models who reflect the community in Stroud.

"We want to find people who feel comfortable on a catwalk. We're not necessarily looking for people who look like supermodels, just confident people of all sizes who would be happy to showcase some amazing clothes and have fun."
