Classic Trade Frames based in Padiham handed over two cheques totalling over £15,000 to help with the relief effort.

Staff and their families raised £10,000 which was donated to Pakistan based charity Sultania Earthquake Appeal. The management of Classic Trade Frames donated £5,250 to Nelson based charity Muslim Global Relief.

CONTRIBUTION: Children from Hawthorns Junior School raised £1622 for the South Asia Earthquake Appeal. Waqar Hussain collected the cheque on behalf of Islamic Relief from Gary Gorell and pupils from the school.

EFFORT: Volunteers from the Pakistani Community Centre in Manchester collected medicines, food, and clothes for the appeal.

EQUIPMENT: Members of the Friendship Mission sent out 60 pieces of hospital equipment to Pakistan.

ASDA: Asda Burnley bought tents for the Earthquake Appeal. The £546 left over was donated to the appeal effort.

RADIO APPEALS: The team at ILM Radio Ramadan Blackburn raised £27,000 for the South Asian Earthquake Appeal. Other radio stations locally raising who raised money for the earthquake appeals included Radio Sargam in Bolton, Radio Ramadan Oldham, Cresent Community Radio Rochdale and Radio Ramadan Manchester.
