AMIR Khan has sensationally split from his trainer Oliver Harrison.
The Bolton boxing star will appoint a top American to guide him to a world-title shot before the end of the year.
The 21-year-old, undefeated in 17 fights under the guidance of Harrison, broke the news to his Salford-based trainer when he returned from Las Vegas, where he attended the Joe Calzaghe fight.

Roger Mayweather, Buddy McGirt and Freddie Roach are all in the frame.
An official announcement will be made later this week but a spokesman said: "It is nothing personal with Oliver and we hope to stay friends but Amir needs to go up to the next level."
