It was a tough ask but they did it!
Members of the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service completed a 16 mile school to school charity run to raise money for the South Asia Earthquake Appeal. At each stop the runners were welcomed by cheering pupils from schools in Blackburn and Darwen and collected money raised by them for the charity. The grand finale was at Witton Park where the charity run coincided with the Schools Sports day.
