Police in Preston are appealing for information following the disappearance of a Preston teenager.
Maryi Razaq, 15, was last seen by her family on Tuesday evening at her home address in Deepdale.
She has not been seen or heard of since leaving the family home.
Police in the city are now becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.
Maryi is described as 5ft 5ins tall, Asian, has very long black hair which is often worn in a ponytail, she wears a white ring, white necklace, silver watch and bracelet.
At the time she went missing it is not known what clothes she was wearing, although officers believe she is in possession of a JD sports bag a traditional Asian dress, pants and shoes.
Detective Inspector Dave McKenna said: "Due to the fact that Maryi is only 15 years of age and has been missing since late Tuesday evening we are becoming very concerned for her welfare.
"I am appealing to anyone who has seen or heard from Maryi since Tuesday night to make contact with us at Preston on 01772 203203.
"Alternatively if Maryi sees this appeal I would urge her to contact me directly as I need to know that she is safe and well."
