H&M has recalled a range of socks after a pattern which resembled the word Allah was featured on it.
The image was meant to be that of a Lego figurine holding a jackhammer but turn it upside down and it appears to say 'Allah' in Arabic.
A statement from H&M read, βAt H&M we always aim to offer products that we believe our customers will appreciate,"
"The print on this sock represents a Lego figurine, any other meaning is entirely coincidental and we apologise if this motif has offended anyone.β
The company have said that all socks have been recalled.
