Pakistani cricket star-turned-politician Imran Khan has married a former journalist for the BBC, a close aide said.
The couple tied the knot in a simple ceremony at the politician's farmhouse on the outskirts of the capital Islamabad, Sherin Mazari said.
His bride, Reham Khan, was a weather reporter for the BBC and now hosts a political talk show on Pakistan's Dawn News.
Mr Khan was previously married to British socialite Jemima Khan and has two sons. His new wife reportedly has three children from a previous marriage.
For some weeks, there has been chatter about the politician possibly remarrying but it was not confirmed until today.
Pakistani television showed photos of the couple in formal Pakistani wedding attire following the ceremony.
