A protest organized by the Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) to mark International Human Rights Day took place in Srinagar, India today.
According to APDP some 8,000-10,000 people have gone missing since the beginning of the Kashmir conflict in 1989, after being arrested by Indian security forces and other security agencies.
