Veteran Dharmendra will be seen in action sequences in his latest release 'Double di Trouble'. Even at the age of 78, he performed harness shots and refused to take any body doubles for his shots.

Smeep Kang explained that Dharmendra is so energetic at this age that even younger talent cannot match his zeal.

He adds, “On the sets, while performing his stunts, he was injured. In spite of his iconic personality and age, he was humble and professional enough to simply “request” for an off and not “demand” one. Imagine the feeling one has when such a senior actor does that courteous act.

"The respect for him in my heart went on increasing with the increasing number of days of shooting.”

When the film’s shoot hadn’t started, Smeep Kang and Subhash Ghai met to plan of the film.

During the interaction, Smeep Kang was reading out the script to Ghai.

He asked Smeep to stop the narration and, having complete faith in him, asked him to start shooting. Smeep said, “I am like a dwarf in front of Ghai Sahib but still he showed so much of trust.

"Giving a good film to the audience is my responsibility but at the same time matching Ghai Sahib’s expectations is also my duty. I hope he likes the final product.”
