A Scotland Yard sergeant was suspended today after a fresh allegation of racism in the force.
The allegation involved a conversation between colleagues in north London yesterday, officers said.
His suspension from duties is the latest in a catalogue of complaints against officers in recent months.
There are 13 separate allegations of racism under investigation by Scotland Yard and the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
