POLICE have appealed for help in tracing a missing mother and her baby who may in the Sunderland area.
Thames Valley Police say the Sanuja Theivendirajah, 22, and her 11-month-old daughter Yalshana Yalenthan, have been missing from their home since last week.
They were last seen by Sanuja’s partner at 2pm on Monday February 6 at their home in Daniels Welch, Coffee Hall, Milton Keynes. Yalshana will have her first birthday on Sunday.
Sanuja is described as Asian, 5ft 5in and has shoulder-length black hair.
Inspector Yakoob Teladia said "We are becoming extremely concerned about the welfare of both mother and daughter.
"All we need to know is that they are safe and have come to no harm.
"I would urge Sanuja to attend her local police station and let us know she and her baby are safe."
Anyone with any information about Sanuja’s whereabouts should contact Thames Valley Police via the non-emergency number on 101.
