A MAN bled to death from stab wounds in a warehouse in Wembley after his throat was cut, a post mortem has confirmed.

The man, in his late 40s, was discovered yesterday morning on an industrial estate close to Wembley Stadium, having apparently been murdered.

The warehouse worker who found the lifeless body told the Harrow Times the man's throat had been cut when he found him, and pathologist confirmed this as the probable cause of death.

Police are currently trying to contact his next of kin, believed to be from south Asian, and are investigating the case as a murder.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and after nearly 24 hours in custody, officers have been given 36 hours to question him further.

It is believed the victim and the man in custody knew each other, and both lived in the Wembley area.
