A new word game focusing on learning and pronunciation has been launched on Google Play Store.
WordApt, a unique word forming game was created by Atif Bashir from Bradford and took almost three years to complete.
"There is no learning game like WordApt on the market.
"It's a great game for expanding your vocabulary and improving your pronunciation.
"I thought of the concept and I also designed it. I used my savings to get the app built.
"The aim of the game is to form hidden words from a given word.
"Words can be formed by splitting the pronunciation of the given word. For example, with the word "SPICE," acceptable words are "SPY," "PIE," "AYE," "EYE" and "SPEISS."
"The game challenges your vocabulary."
As well as being an educational app, 50% of WordApt proceeds will be donated to Yorkshire Cancer Research.
WordApt is free to download on Google Play Store.
