TV watchdog Ofcom has received 79 complaints over a scene in which Celebrity Big Brother's Marnie Simpson exposed her breasts to Saira Khan.

The Geordie Shore star, 24, has been accused of bullying Khan, 46, by flashing her, following a day of heated arguments in the house.

The incident came after a row between Khan and Simpson, Heavy D, Lewis Bloor, and Stephen Bear, who the Loose Women presenter said were ganging up on her.

Earlier in the day, Khan had ended up in tears in the diary room, saying: "I'm so out of my comfort zone with these people. I did not think Big Brother would make me crack after just three days."

In the scene on Sunday night on Channel 5, Simpson pulled down her top and gyrated her breasts in front of an unimpressed Khan's face.

"Do you think the reason we had the big argument is because I have better boobs than you?" she asked.

DJ James Whale was appalled by her actions.

"That was uncalled for. That was a bet? I don't find that very funny," he said.

An Ofcom spokesperson said: "We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not."

Twitter users accused Simpson and Bear of bullying Khan.

Stuart Rhodes wrote: "#Marnie should be expelled from the #CBB house and those who encouraged her bullying behaviour formally reprimanded. Bravo @THEJamesWhale."

Another user wrote: "I think Marnie, Lewis & Bear all deserve a warning for what they did to Saira. That is bullying. No other word for it & not acceptable."

Twitter user Sacha Corcoran questioned why it been aired.

She wrote: "Why does #cbb condone bullying, it's disgusting to allow bullies to have airtime and it be classed as entertainment #channel5 sort it out!"
