Tesco has been ridiculed after an image circulated of smoky bacon flavoured Pringles beingΒ displayed on a Ramadan promotional stand.
The store in question is believed to be in London and many shoppers were quick to re-post the picture on social media this morning.
On the whole though many Muslims were quick to see the funny side of the gaffe.

The next-level irony here is that Smokey Bacon Pringles don't even contain bacon, it's all fake flavourings http://t.co/N7mOeEALCK

In a statement, Tesco said, βWe are proud to offer a wide range of meals and products to meet the needs of our customers during Ramadan. βWe recognise these Pringles werenβt in the most suitable place and our store colleagues have now moved them.β
