A Bollywood Flashmob inspired by the hit programme ‘Nach Baliye' took the streets by storm.

The London-based dancers, mainly students from the Shiamak Davar’s The Dance Academy descended on the capital to treat the public to surprise performances.

Starting with just six dancers, the group quickly grew in numbers, with dancers emerging from all corners of the crowd dancing to catchy Bollywood tunes, as bystanders looked both delighted and bemused.

Alia Kapoor from the group said, "BollyMobUK is simply an idea driven by our sheer love to perform by making others happy by surprising them with our highly energizing performance.

"If we’ve managed to inspire any single person to get up and dance that would be wonderful, even if they’ve never danced before."

The 50 strong team performed at various locations across London including Tower Hill, Liverpool Street, Southbank and Wembley Central.
