An Iftar event raised over £1700 for a Hospice
The 'Big Iftar' held at the Oaks Hotel in Burnley and aimed to bring people together, unite communities and share an Itfar during the holy month of Ramadan.
Sadia Bashir of Essential Health and Wellbeing who helped organise the fundraiser said, "Thank you to everyone who attended last night. It all self-funded, with the help of some local sponsors.
"The event was wonderful and everybody gave us some lovely feedback.
"We managed to raise about £1750 for Pendleside Hospice."
