Hands of Hope arranged a Christmas party for Elderly residents in a care home.
Group members raised £500 and delivered over 50 presents to the residents of a care home based on Holly Court on Troy Street in Blackburn.
Co-founder of the group Shakeel Choudhry said, “This project stood out because we delegated it to the younger members of the ‘Hands Of Hope’ team to organise the event, buy the presents and arrange the food.
“Hira, Awais, Husna, Hibah and Halima did an amazing job much to the surprise of not only us but the care home too.
“It just goes to show that mentoring our youth is the way forward. With the right direction we can all serve the community with a lot of love and respect.”
