Shakeel Choudhry is cycling from Manchester to Blackburn to help raise funds for the Rohingya refugees.
More than 800,000 Rohingya refugees living in Bangladesh.
About 480,000 have fled Rakhine since August 25, when Myanmar’s army began an operation against minority groups.
The operation has emptied dozens of villages and forced people to flee the violence across Myanmar's borders.
Shakeel will set off from Deansgate in Manchester on November 12.
He said, "I have had an amazing response overall. Thank you for the Love and Respect you guys have shown.
"Training is by the grace of god going well. Please remember me in your prayers. Mixing it up a little with some circuit training, a lot of cycling of course and some running too.
"I want to raise as much as possible towards this worthy cause and I ask everyone to go on to the Just Giving Link and donate whatever they can.
"No amount is too small and it will go towards helping those in the most need."
