Carers Link Lancashire would like to hear from our diverse community across Lancashire and encourage them to be part of their organisation.

Carers Link Lancashire are on the lookout for people who could give just a little time every week, fortnight or just once a month, to join a growing community of volunteers helping in a variety of roles including befriending, fundraising, admin support, complementary therapies and many more.

Mustafa Mohammed, a Trustee of Carers Link Lancashire, said: “I have found the staff very friendly, focused and they deliver a very high standard of service.

“To reach out to a diverse audience, Carers Link Lancashire has a representative workforce and are also looking forward to recruiting volunteers and carers from East Lancashire’s communities.

“I urge our communities to actively and proactively take part and make a valuable contribution – whether it’s fundraising, volunteering or becoming a trustee.”

Councillor Lubna Khan said, “In my experience of South Asian communities, members of families are particularly proud of the care that they give to the vulnerable and elderly relatives in the family. Accessing carers to provide the attention and support needed, need not be a taboo any more.

“It can mean that your loved ones have a better quality of life, as will family members as a direct result.”

Shakil Salam, Trustee said, I believe that Carers Link Lancashire provide an excellent support for unpaid carers and become a voice for individuals who are providing support for their loved one. Therefore it is vital for us to be part of this wonderful organisation.

If you could spare just two hours a week, a fortnight, or even a month, Carers Link Lancashire would like to hear from you.
