Blackburn United Football Club raised a fantastic £6,474.97 during their annual fun day.
The event at St Mary’s College attracted hundreds from across the community and included stalls, rides and penalty shoot outs.

Iqbal Bhai, chairman of the club, said: “This was all made possible through the hard work of the volunteers at the club.
“It was truly a monumental effort by everyone associated with the club and our supporters.
“The money will go towards helping to fund football in the community and ensure we can deliver services young people in the town.”
