A Mosque Open Day is being held in Bradford on Sunday as part of a community cohesion event.

The event, which is being held at Al-Mustafa Mosque and Educational Centre includes a guided tour of the mosque, an exhibition, a presentation and a question and answer session.

Dawud David Lynas who recently launched Dewsbury New Muslims, a support network for new converts said, "Events like this encourage the breaking down of barriers that may exist between faith and non faith communities and create much needed relationships with the local community.

"They promote awareness about the need to not just facilitate a better religious understanding of Islam, but to harmonise cohesion for humanity as a whole."
