DETECTIVES are hunting a gang who got away with cash after threatening a homeowner with a knife.

Police have issued images of the men they want to speak to in connection with the aggravated burglary which happened on Saturday at about 3pm in St Wilfred's Crescent, Scholemoor.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who has information about the men or a five door silver BMW that pulled up outside the house before the incident.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "One man got out and loitered outside the address before returning to the car.

"Two other men then got out, entered the property and threatened the male occupant inside with a knife.

"They fled a few moments later with a quantity of cash, leaving the victim shocked but uninjured." 

One suspect was described as having a black beard, short dark hair shaved at the back and wearing a green hooded jacket and blue jeans. 

Another was 5ft 8ins tall, skinny and light skinned wearing a grey hooded jumper with the hood pulled tight around his face. He was also wearing gloves  

The third suspect was 5ft 11ins tall and of average build wearing a black jacket with the hood pulled tight around his face, a black face covering and was wearing gloves in possession of the knife. 

Temporary Detective Inspector Craig McKay of Bradford District CID said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information about this offence which was clearly a very frightening experience for the victim. 

"I am keen to speak with anyone who saw a five-door silver BMW with black alloy wheels, outside the property just before the incident, or who saw the suspects."
