Member of the Abu Hanifah Scouts Group joined in with festivities to commemorate 100 Years of the Cub Scouts.
They joined children from across Blackburn at the Immanuel Church in the town.
At exactly 7.16pm tens of thousands of cubs from across the Country renewed their Cub Scout promise together.
Blackburn Cubs Scouts lit a beacon together to signify a very memorable event.
AHF Cub Scout Mariam Shikora said "it was a really fun night which I'll never forget. My best bit was playing games, eating jelly and ice cream and getting presents at the end".
Scouting is flourishing with hundreds of children and adults from the age of 6 are meeting weekly to take part in a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
