CRASH investigators are appealing for information about the movements of two cars involved in a double fatal crash.

Officers released details of two vehicles, a BMW and a Range Rover, following a crash on Shipley Airedale Road on Saturday.

The crash claimed the lives of father-of-three Mirza Abdul Malik, 64, and Paul Hayward, 55, both of Bradford, who were travelling in a Proton Gen-2 GSX minicab.

It was struck by a grey BMW 330D as it was turning off the A650 Shipley Airedale Road towards North Street.

Police said that a white Range Rover was also believed to have been involved in the collision.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr Malick’s funeral will be held at the Masjid Madni Jamia mosque, off Killinghall Road, at 4pm today.

A third man, 25, who was a passenger in the BMW, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The drivers of the BMW and Range Rover, aged 26 and 22 respectively, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They were later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Sergeant Carl Quinn, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, has asked for any witnesses to come forward.

"We would like to hear from anyone who saw the movements of the BMW and Range Rover in the time leading up to the collision.

"The Range Rover bore the registration plate X111 SYY and the BMW registration plate was YD65 WMG.
