Sajjad Riaz started sending pictures on Snapchat and soon realised he had a talent for creating the unusual.

He has already built up a following and the creations featured here are all drawn by hand.

Sajjad told us, “After getting used to the app and messing around with it, I realised I could create a lot of detailed work.

“I then started to let my artistic side take over and started to create a whole new picture by drawing on to my phone.

“I took advantage of the whole colour palette including the “secret” extra colours during my lunch at work and any spare time I had.”

Sajjad says the response from his friends has been overwhelming, “A lot of my followers are sat in boring jobs and wait eagerly for my next snapchat, keeping them entertained for up  to 10 seconds until it disappears unless they screenshot my image, as most of them do!”
The app ‘Snapchat’ is a photo messaging app so you communicate with other users via pictures, which you can also add text to but is limited to one line unless you change the font.

You can record videos, add text, add drawings made on the app and send them to a controlled list of friends who also have the app installed.
Around 700 million photos and videos are sent via the app per day.
Sajjad, 35, a Civil Servant, also has a degree in car design, he produced his first image of a Spartan earlier this year.

“One of my favourite images I created is of me wearing an army issue hard hat with goggles and a gas mask.
“I created the image because someone had put too much perfume on in the office!”
