The mother of a Bradford University student who has been missing for exactly one month today has made an emotional plea for his safe return.
Aamir Qudeer, 21, left Bradford Interchange by train on February 26 and travelled by train to Leeds and then LIverpool.
The last sighting of him was captured on CCTV in Mulgrave Street in Liverpool at 6.55pm that day.
His mother Zatoon Qudeer said her son’s disappearance was “totally out of character”.
Appealing to her son, she said: “You can imagine what we are going through not knowing what is happening, we don’t care how bad it is we just want to know you are safe.
"We all miss you so much and just want you to come home."
Detective Inspector Neil Benstead, who is leading the investigation, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about Aamir and are appealing to him or anyone who may have seen him in Merseyside or Yorkshire to please make contact and reassure us and his family that he is okay."
Mr Qudeer is 5ft 5ins tall and was wearing a grey long-sleeved top, a dark body warmer, dark trousers and dark shoes.
Anyone with any information should contact police on 101.
