In 2012 nurse Manhan Taylor was named Man of the Year.
The Fusion Awards has helped to highlight the fantastic work of volunteers, charity workers and entrepreneurs through the North West. The ceremony in 2016 will be held at King George’s Hall, Blackburn on Saturday, May 28.
For over forty years health worker Manhar has not only worked to help others but also partaken in various charity projects. Manhar joined Tameside hospital as a nurse and spent his entire career at Tameside hospital – after raising thousands of pounds for good causes.
Manhar Taylor, known as Manni, joined the hospital as a trainee in May 1969. Over the years he took part part in numerous fun runs and other charity events.
On accepting the award on the night, Manhar thanked everyone who had supported him. He certainly received the loudest cheer on the night and was truly overcome with emotion on receiving the award.
