Salma Choudhry was named as Entrepreneur of the year at this year’s Fusion Awards.

After three years of research Salma has launched a range of luxury halal cleansing and skincare cosmetics.

The idea came to fruition when in late 2009 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and began her journey of taking a deeper look at her lifestyle.

When she researched the Ingredients within the cosmetic industry it soon became apparent that not only were a lot of companies using harmful ingredients but a lot of them did not even comply with her spiritual beliefs.

The signature range is aimed at the premium market and contains the most powerful anti ageing ingredients discovered to date.

All the products are manufactured in Britain. The company is currently planning to launch the cosmetics in the Middle East, South East Asia and the USA.

Salma said, “I am completely overwhelmed and still can’t believe I have won it.”

Entrepreneur of the year finalists this year included, Saira Hussain (Hussain Architectural Design), Bina Limbachia (Neesh Events Ltd); Rachel Behan, Tracy Lowe and Charlotte Yates Fable & Promise (Fable and Promise)
