The founders of the Bangladesh Caterers' Association (BCA) UK Ltd are to host the Bangladesh Caterers' Association Annual Dinner Party.
The BCA Annual Dinner 2007 will mark the 47th anniversary of the association's establishment and is revered as the most prestigious awards ceremony of its kind in the UK specifically created to reward the very best of Bangladeshi restaurants that play a significant role in contributing to the nation's economy and wealth.

The event also recognises and awards the organisation's veterans, applauding them for their continuous loyalty and hard work since the inception of the BCA in 1960, and the efforts of community leaders who have devoted their time and effort within their respective institutions and industry.
The theme for the BCA Annual Dinner 2007 is Tastes to Share, Food to Admire', which will profile the glorious history of Bangladeshi cuisine, with a retrospect on the changed tastes it has created for the UK's burgeoning food market who hail Bangladeshi food such as chicken-tikka-masala as Britain's National Dish.
The gala event is the largest annual congregation of restaurateurs, who attend to meet and exchange views with other fellow restaurateurs concerning their personal success stories, future policies affecting curry business, and to meet high-level Government policy makers.
More than 1,000 guests will attend this star-studded event including Rt Hon Hillary Benn MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Rt Hon Ed Miliband MP - Minister for the Cabinet Office and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Jonathan Shaw MP, Michael Foster MP, Lord Neil Kinnock, Lord Nazir Ahmed, Baroness Paula Uddin, Lord Andrew Mawson, Lord Karan Bilimoria and other guests will consist of a host of curry and restaurant aficionados, celebrity chefs, mainstream and Asian celebrities, public figures, MPs and other high profile dignitaries from the UK and mainland Europe.
President of the Bangladesh Caterers' Association UK Ltd Mr Bajloor Rashid comments: "We are looking forward to seeing our local community coming together to remember the services of our veterans in the curry industry and to encourage our British born children who accomplished excellent academic results despite facing numerous odds."
"The Tastes to Share, Food to Admire' theme helps us to think about the impact of how Bangladeshi foods have long been admired by the British society over the ages and consider what we can do to work to protect our legacy of food and culture and hand it down to the next generation" says Mr N R Khandaker Pasha, the Secretary General of BCA.
the dinner takes place on Sunday 2nd December 2007 at Hilton Park Lane, London.
