The mayor pours holy water over a statue of Swami Narayan with Swami Sadhu Gnanmunidas (left) during a visit to Akshardham Temple.
It was built by the same sect of Hinduism who built the temple in Neasden, north west London.
He said, “This morning I visited the breathtaking Akshardham Temple, home of the community who built Neasden Temple in London. Thank you to London’s Hindu community and BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha for the huge contribution they make to our city.”
