Winners were announced at the seventh annual English Curry Awards presented by Goldstar Chefs held at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly.

The English Curry Awards recognise the hard work, determination and efforts of English curry establishment and professionals.

The event was hosted by comedian,  Mani Liaqat.

He welcomed on stage talented individuals and businesses, acknowledged for constantly delivering high-quality food products and impeccable service to their clients.

Several of the awards were split into local regions to ensure the diverse range of businesses from across England are recognised for their hard work.

Irfan Younis, CEO of organisers Oceanic Consulting, said: “We are honoured and delighted to have such great finalists and winners representing the English curry industry and enhancing its reputation nationally and internationally.

“These were the seventh annual English Curry Awards. They are a true reflection of the talent in England and we want to make sure that the hard work and determination of English curry professionals doesn’t go unnoticed.
