An entrepreneur who is just twelve years-old was among the winners at the 2017 English Asian Business Awards.

The event held at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel  celebrated the accomplishments of individuals and organisations from the Asian business community throughout England. 

Among the winners was schoolboy Abz Navsarka who set up DessertVan.co.uk in Coventry.

Yasmin Mahmood of event organisers, Oceanic Consulting said, “We are humbled and honoured to be amongst so much talent. Every year the list of nominees continues to show examples of innovation and business acumen that surpass the last, and this year was no exception. The event was hosted by BBC Radio Leicester’s, Kamlesh Purohit.
