The man behind the Royal Piri Piri Restaurant in Preston has launched a new steakhouse in Bolton.

The opening of the Meating Restaurant based on Crook Street was attended by a number of guests including MP Yasmin Qureshi.

Owner Azad Miah said: “The Meating is a new concept for us and we are delighted to have opened in Bolton.

“We offer a range of gourmet steaks, gourmet burgers and grilled fish. We will also be offering the traditional curries and piri piri dishes and we are very much hoping customers will find the new concept to their liking.

“The steaks are a little different to what people might be used to and so is the setting. The interior has been fully renovated.”

The new sixty-four seater HMC (Halal Monitoring Committee) certified restaurant will be open from 5.30pm until 11pm seven days a week.
