Donald Trump supporters are calling for a boycott of Budweiser following the release of the beer company's 'pro-immigration' Super Bowl advert.
The beer firm's topical advert, titled 'Born the Hard Way' tells the story of Budweiser's co-founder Adolphus Busch, who came to America from Germany in 1857.
The 60-second clip shows people telling Mr Busch 'You're not wanted here, go back home!' after landing on US soil and ends with him meeting Eberhard Anheuser and forming Anheuser-Busch, the firm that created Budweiser.
However, the advert, which is part of the company's 'building friendships over beers' campaign, has caused controversy amongst some with Trump supporters who believe its message 'bashes the President's 'immigration' travel ban.
The hashtag #boycottBudweiser is now being used on Twitter by supporters of Mr Trump who are unhappy with the advert.
Way to go @Budweiser you've managed to piss off middle America. You know, the people who used to drink your beer. #BoycottBudweiser

@budlight No thanks... it's time to #BoycottBudweiser. We don't need your beer, your opinions, and your illegal immigrants.
