The new halal MUMU Steakhouse and Grill is set to open its doors to customers in Preston this weekend.
The steakhouse which offers a range of signature dishes opens after a four month renovation on London Road in the city.
Guests were given a special preview to the venture last night.
It has been created by the man behind Manchester’s Italian restaurant Don Giovanni and, previously, Rosso, Adam Karim.
Many readers will be also be familiar with Adam’s father’s restaurant – ‘Karim’s’ which is located in Middleton, Manchester.
The new steakhouse showcases a menu based around entirely halal ingredients from certified British butchers and farmers.
It offers a selection of chargrilled British Halal steaks going up to 14oz alongside smoked and marinated cuts of lean British lamb, chicken and Scottish salmon.
The menu also features Buffalo BBQ ribs, house signature beef and chicken burgers, crispy skin-on chicken, corn on the cob, stacked fries and a variety of grilled wing styles.
MUMU’s unlicensed bar serves up a mixture of mocktails and milkshakes.
The restaurant opens in Preston tonight.
We will feature our review in the next issue of Asian Image.
