Fashion retailer Burooj has opened a new specialised studio in Manchester.
The Burooj studio, based in the Burhan Centre, Beresford Road, Longsight, is by appointment only specialising in bridal, shirwanis and couture outfits.
A special launch event was held at the studio where invited guests met with designers as well getting a glimpse of exclusive outfits.
Apart from their own intricate compositions, Burooj create bespoke wedding gowns with their team of in-house designers.
Managing directors Asad and Usman Waheed said: “It’s not just about having that perfect, unique outfit. We offer a luxury experience.
“Many clients comment that when they enter the studio, they feel as if they have been transported to Dubai or Pakistan.
“We realise that a wedding is one of the most important days of your life. And that is captured in the ambiance of our studio. We use opulent fabrics to create outfits for the bride, groom and their family and friends.
“Weddings today are all about themes and aesthetics. We execute that vision with our designs.”
In their two retail stores, Burooj have collaborated with iconic Pakistani designers such as Sana Safinaz and Bareeze.
The new studio is a platform for a distinctive focus on haute couture designs. Usman continued: “The market for Asian bridal wear in the UK is vast. We have brought a new and distinguished face of Pakistani designs to the UK.
“We will ensure that every detail is catered for, whether it is an antique Mughal design or embellishment in Swarovski stones.
“Outfits are created for all the wedding functions, including mendhi, nikkah and walima.
“Our sherwanis are aesthetically distinctive. Not only will the groom’s outfit compliment the bride’s, but it will be co-ordinated by the clothes worn by his father and brothers and cousins.
“The service requires an average timing of three months.
“The final product is a culmination of beauty and sensuality.”
