Euro Car Parts has opened its 200th branch as it continues to fulfill its rapid expansion plans.

Manchester's Moss Lane branch is one of ECP’s new generation hubs.

Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, founder and chairman of ECP, said, “By 2018 we will have twenty new generation hubs strategically located across England supplying over 230 branches three to four times per day.

"This network is essential for us to continue to provide an unrivaled, same day delivery service to all of our customers.”

Providing approximately 180 deliveries per day to Whitefield, Bury, Radcliffe, Swinton and Cheetham Hill, the hub will initially be occupied by 38 staff, increasing to 50 within one year.

Totalling 60,000 sq ft (5,574 sq m) over three floors, the Manchester hub will take ECP’s total property portfolio to over 5,250,000 sq ft (487,725 sq m).

Each hub holds in excess of 36,000 lines of stock, covering 97% of all customer demand.

From 2017, all of ECP’s new generation hubs will be served from its new one million sq ft (92,900 sq m) national distribution centre, currently being developed at Birch Coppice, Tamworth.

The new style retail counter – with 29 bays – will ensure a speedy service for ECP’s retail customers.
