Bradford pop star Zayn Malik last night quit the social networking site Twitter after saying he was sick of getting "hate".
Zayn, 19, of West Bowling, is one fifth of the boy band One Direction, and he closed down his @zaynmalik Twitter account at 10.45pm last night.
His final message read:
"The reason I don't tweet as much as I used to is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that I get daily goodbye twitter :)"

The video is shot through a spy-hole from a neighbouring hotel room and purports to show a bouncer refusing entry to a young woman to another room, and a young man, who those who posted the video
claim is Zayn, telling her to "come back later".
