One Direction's Zayn Malik quits Twitter after allegations of video of mystery blonde

Bradford pop star Zayn Malik last night quit the social networking site Twitter after saying he was sick of getting "hate".
Zayn, 19, of West Bowling, is one fifth of the boy band One Direction, and he closed down his @zaynmalik Twitter account at 10.45pm last night.
His final message read:
"The reason I don't tweet as much as I used to is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that I get daily goodbye twitter :)"
Zayn is thought to have had abusive tweets following the surfacing on the internet of a video that allegedly showed Zayn with a girl in his hotel at the end of One Direction's US tour earlier this year.
The video is shot through a spy-hole from a neighbouring hotel room and purports to show a bouncer refusing entry to a young woman to another room, and a young man, who those who posted the video claim is Zayn, telling her to "come back later".
The video is of poor quality and the people in it are difficult to identify. But gossip sites, including that of renowned celebrity columnist Perez Hilton, claim the young man is Zayn .
Zayn has previously received abuse from fanatical "Directioners" as the band's followers are known because of his relationship with Perrie Edwards from Little Mix.
Following his departure from Twitter last night, a flood of fans begged him to return, and turned on those Tweeters who they believed had driven Zayn from the site.

T&A first with the news that matters.
Things like Westfield trying to sell the site don't actually get a look in or aren't deemed need to know for the people of Bradford.

I suppose there are always those who want to slum it and live dangerously so Bradford will suit them, but normal shoppers? Forget it.

Well that tops it all. The reason I do not buy the T&A anymore. It stopped being a quality local paper a few years ago when Mike Priestley and propped journalists left. It's a sad and very publicly dying medium and the day of the local fish wrapper is clearly, with news stories like this, numbered. And they Wonder why sales have dropped massively.........!
As for this story - pathetic - a talentless young man who cannot sing and his 15 minutes of fame will soon be over!

Twitter & Facebook - the most useless creations of recent years. I never use them.
you can control who gets on your page on facebook with a click of the cursor, so its down to you to make sure of your privacy. there is a button to click on saying who can see your page.. friends, friends of friends, everyone. if you don't have the sense to click on your option thats your lookout and your fault if you get trolls on your page. i have never had one of those trolls in all the years on facebook and can't comment on twitter because i think its the most stupid thing i've seen, and lasted 10 minutes on it. "am having a coffee now", or " reading my paper" is a total time waster and to be honest, who gives monkeys about that?
