A man has made his first appearance at Court today charged with murdering a woman at her Bradford home.
Police were called to Libby Street, off Carlisle Road, Manningham, on Thursday at 11.40pm after a woman sustained head injuries.
The 33-year-old woman, Samantha Warren, died late last night at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Santosh Kumar, 43, of Crossley Wood Road, Bingley, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court this morning charged with her murder. He was also charged with a Section 18 wounding of the same person on April 26.
Kumar, led into the dock by two security guards and wearing a white t-shirt and blue trousers, was remanded in custody until Wednesday morning when he will appear before Bradford Crown Court He clutched his hands infront of him as he spoke briefly to confirm his name, age and address.
