Police are appealing for witnesses following two robberies.
The first incident happened on Saturday, February 11, at around 2.30pm in St James Road, Blackburn.
Two men, believed to be Asian, entered the property through the front door and have stolen a 38 inch television set. They then left the house and made off towards Tenby Close.
The second incident happened at around 7pm on Wednesday, February 15, at a house in Mossdale.
A masked man armed with a knife broke into the house and threatened an 18-year-old man. They stole electrical items including two laptops and a quantity of jewellery.
DC Mark Cruise from Blackburn CID said: “Fortunately nobody was hurt during the robberies but it has left the victims feeling extremely shaken after what can only be described as a terrifying ordeal.
If anyone has any information that can assist the investigation then I would urge them to contact us.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of these two incidents and who witnessed anything suspicious to come forward and get in touch.”
