Two men have been arrested by detectives investigating a smash-and-grab raid at a Bradford jewellers in which up to £100,000 of gold was stolen.
The Bradford men, aged 22, and 29, were being held for questioning today at a police station in the city.
Police said inquiries were continuing into the raid, which saw a masked gang wielding machetes strike at Kesser jewellers in Oak Lane, Manningham, at about 6.30pm last Saturday.
The gang used a blue or green Mitsubishi Shogun to knock down a wall at the back of the shop before they burst in through a back door terrifying staff.
