Pipe warning for householders

PEOPLE living in and around Hertfordshire are being warned against the problems of burst pipes and the damage they can cause.

If recent freezing temperatures return, badly-insulated pipes can cause problems and the resulting damage, flooding and expense can be devastating.

British Gas are advising householders to check all exposed pipes and water storage areas to ensure they are properly insulated.
