Starting out healthy

PUPILS at schools supporting the Bexley Healthy Schools project got the chance to celebrate recently.

Schoolchildren in the borough put on special events, which included presentations devoted to health education and citizenship. Those schools involved included: Chatsworth Infants, in Sidcup, Jubilee Primary School, in Thamesmead, Woodside School, in Belvedere and Bexleyheath's Townley Grammar School for Girls.

Special acknowledgment was given to Northend Primary School, in Slade Green.

The presentations and cake afterwards was enjoyed by all, including special guests, Bexley councillors, Colin Tandy and Teresa O'Neill.
