A LAMBORGHINI was smashed at the weekend following a crash on a city centre street.
The yellow supercar was being driven over the 30mph speed limit before crashing on Godwin Street in Bradford on Saturday evening, according to PC Martin Willis.
He said: "Sadly another example of driving ambition far outweighing actual driving skills. Luckily this time, no innocent parties affected by one person's stupidity."
A witness, who did not wish to be named, said: "I didn’t see the crash personally, but he did drive past me near Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) driving like an idiot [at] 7pmish on Saturday."
They said the driver would leave a big gap between them and the car in front before accelerating rapidly.
It is believed the driver had the car for their brother's wedding.
The car sustained significant damage to the front of the body and some photos show damage to the base of a sculpture at the side of the street.
